Strathearn Community Garden Update
Spring is nearly here, and the community garden group has been hard at work to ensure our community has the means to start building a garden in Silver Heights Park this year. In February, concept plans were submitted to the city and we applied for two grants to secure funding for the garden. We are also holding a compost FUNDRAISER on May 12, 2018. Please support us!

Strathearn Garden Proceeds to Concept Phase
In early January, the Strathearn Community Garden group received news
that the City of Edmonton has approved the Strategy Phase application,
submitted in 2017.
The group is now working on completing the Concept Phase, which involves
designing the garden and determining a budget. The location for the
Community Garden will be where the old community hall was in Silver
Heights Park. Thanks to all in the community who have been supportive
of the Strathearn Community Garden. We hope to make it a reality in
2018! Keep informed about the garden by visiting the Strathearn
