Classes are 1 hour and run for an 8 week session. Community league member cost is $70, non-member cost is $80 (credit card), or drop in for $15 per class (cash only).

If you have never participated in a Barre class, they are so much fun! Less impact than a boot camp and all the rage now. Barre infuses elements of dance, and ballet, to achieve beautiful healthy bodies, while improving postural balance, flexibility, coordination and grace. It strengthens, lengthens, and chisels the body, and each class features an elegant yet energetic combination of movements that improve balance, and challenge the core. You will sweat and have fun at the same time. What have you got to lose… try it? Come out and join Kim Ashley who is AFLCA fitness leader and Barre Certified and will guide you through the best work out to be the best you! Bring your yoga mat or Pilates mat and your water bottle. Bring your 2lb weights if you have them.
Kim Ashley has always been involved in fitness and healthy living. During high school she played multiple sports such as, swim team, ringette, bicycle riding and was always involved in fitness of some sort. Throughout the years of raising her son Kim was actively involved in and found her passion for working out. Kim has participated in Fem sport competitions and obstacle course races.
It was during Kim’s Fem sport competitions that she started to think about getting her AFLCA requirements so that she could share her passion and love of fitness with everyone. Kim obtained her AFLCA certification and has been teaching fitness for 3 years. A Human Resources Manager by day, Kim teaches fitness in the evenings at some of Edmonton’s community leagues. Kim enjoys teaching Barre, HIIT, and Tabata. Kim’s goal is to empower everyone to embrace both their physical and spiritual health. Being a dedicated fitness instructor, Kim understands and embraces fitness into everyday life and loves to share her passions with others.
